Wedding # 3

Next up for us was Rachel and Tyler's wedding. This one started off on a bang with us not being too sure if Leah would do her job and walk down the aisle. She's not shy, but when she's in new situations with lot's of people watching you just never know what she will do.

At the rehearsal, I gave Tyler some marshmellows to hold in hopes that Leah would walk to him to get them. It didn't go so well. Evan was a dear and tried so hard to get Leah to walk with him. We just didn't know what to expect the next day. That night at dinner, Leah developed a fever and we again weren't sure what to expect the next day.

Leah pulled through and the fever was gone by morning. We got the church after everybody else and Rachel's Maitron of Honor, Lindsey, did Leah's hair. Most people know that Leah is usually very stubborn when it comes to her hair and she won't sit for too long. She doesn't like people pulling her hair or sitting for long periods of time. But Lindsey was awesome and Leah sat perfectly still while she did her hair.

My girl, ready to walk!

When it came time for Leah to walk, I had ideas of trying to get to the end of the aisle first then having her walk to me, but it didn't work out. Rachel wasn't ready to walk, but Leah and Evan were both waiting downstairs alone. So I sat with them and waited for Rachel to be ready, and when the time came for them to walk, there was no way I could get to the end of the aisle without actually walking down it with everybody staring at me. So Aunt Jenn rushed to the rescue and sneaked down to the end of the aisle and Evan and Leah walked slowly to her. It all worked out and the bride was beautiful!!

At the reception, we got to spend time talking with our favorite people in the world-our family. It's always nice to be able to get everybody together and family weddings are the best way to do that.

Leah had fun dancing with her cousin Brynn and Evan, and Aunt Jenn caught the bouquet again at this wedding-she's really quick :)

This was one fun wedding and Leah did a great job in her first stint as flower girl. We love you Rachel and Tyler!
