Leah's 2nd Birthday:)

Today we had Leah's second birthday party-Elmo themed!

Leah's loves her Elmo so I tried to make as many fun Elmo things as I could! I made a fruit tray to look like Elmo's face

I used strawberries, blueberries, oranges, and marshmellow fluff with a blackberry for the eyes.

I also made her some Elmo pretzel sticks, which I dyed some icing red and the dipped the sticks in them and then put a little Elmo candy on the end.

I put the Elmo pretzel sticks in fruit cans that I spray painted red and then made cut outs of Elmo's eyes, nose and mouth. I used a hot glue gun to make them stay on the can.

Our party was orange, red and pink themed, so I got a few candy jars and put red and orange candy in them and put some ribbon around them.

I also made her a fun little banner that I think I'll probably be using for the next few years, since it took me FOREVER to make and it's pretty cute, too :)

And last, but not least, what Elmo party would be complete without a cake? Well, the cake didn't look like it would feed everybody so I made cupcakes too. I made the icing myself and then used Wilton icing dyes to dye the icing orange, black and red. It took a while to decorate, but Leah loved it so it was absolutly worth it :) I also made an Oscar looking cupcake for my Dad, who loves Oscar.

We had a super great party! I can't believe my baby girl is already 2. Can't wait to try and top this party next year!
